8th Grade BBQ – 6/11/25 at 10:30 AM
The BBQ will be held during school hours and is for students only unless you have signed up to volunteer.
Here is a rundown of how the day will go:
- The BBQ will begin at 10:30 AM.
- Students will come outside, go through the food line, and collect their free 8th grade t-shirt.
- At 11:45 AM, students will begin lining up alphabetically by last name in preparation for the ceremony.
8th Grade T-Shirts
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony – 6/11/25
Parents may begin arriving at 12:00 PM to be seated in the gym bleachers for the promotion ceremony. This event is limited to immediate family members only.
- Students will begin filing into the gym and taking their assigned seats at 12:15 PM.
- The ceremony will officially begin at 12:30 PM.
- Each student will be called up to receive their completion certificate, and any UA awards they may be receiving.
Following the ceremony, families will have the opportunity to take photos. If you choose to take your child home afterward, you will need to sign them out. Additional information regarding the sign-out process will be shared at the ceremony.

BBQ Volunteers
We need your help to make this event a success. If you sign up to volunteer, please arrive at the school by 9:30 AM, sign in at the office and then head to the back of the school near the basketball court.
If you signed up to bring food items:
- Non-perishable items may be dropped off at the school any day next week.
- Perishable items should be dropped off on June 11 by 9:00 AM.
